Paris Saint-Germain fans protested the possibility of signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
“Daily Mail” stated that a group of fans hung banners outside the Parc des Princes and Paris Saint-Germain training ground to protest their possible signing.
The banner that appeared on Saturday morning read: “Pogba, you must listen to your mother. She doesn’t want you here, nor do we.” According to RMC Sport, no one has claimed responsibility for the protest banner so far.
It is unclear what sparked PSG fans’ hostility towards Pogba, although the midfielder did not back down when Manchester United won the last 16 UEFA Champions League games in 2019. Pogba was suspended in the second round at Prince’s Park.
He saw Manchester United’s latest dramatic victory in the stands, but then came to the stadium to celebrate with his teammates.
