According to the “Daily Mail” report, Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane can get the jersey number of his dreams at Manchester United.

Varane is about to sign the Old Trafford team. The 28-year-old will be alongside Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan Bisaka in defense of Solskjaer.

There is no doubt that the acquisition of the Varane position will see t-shirt sales skyrocket. Varane used the number 19, 2 and 5 for Real Madrid because Sergio Ramos always uses the number 4.

However, he wore the number 4 jersey of the French national team and wore it during the 2018 World Cup victory.

This number is currently held by Phil Jones of Manchester United. Jones has played for the Red Devils for 10 years, but was unable to participate in a Premier League game last season.

Given that the 29-year-old is often injured and the club is willing to let him go, Manchester United have a chance to give Varane the number 4 jersey he seems to want.
