Before Romelu Lukaku arrived at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea had reached a deal with Rome to sell Tammy Abraham for 34 million pounds.
It is believed that Arsenal, West Ham and Atlanta are all interested in this player. But according to Sky TV Italy, Jose Mourinho’s Rome is now about to get Abraham’s signature.
The British forward has played for Chelsea since he was 7 years old and has made 82 appearances since joining the first team six years ago. Abraham scored 15 Premier League goals with Frank Lampard in the 2019\/2020 season, but the ranking dropped after Thomas Tuchel arrived in January.
The 23-year-old was not selected for the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup final matchday line-up. Now he must decide whether to join Roma, even though the Blues are unwilling to sell their academy graduates to their rivals in the Premier League.
Just as Romelu Lukaku completed the club’s record 97.5 million transfer to Chelsea, Abraham looked about to leave West London and the Chelsea club sold him just seven years ago.
