Romelu Lukaku’s return to Chelsea is destined to make him the most valuable player in football.

The Inter Milan striker is about to return to Chelsea ten years after his first return to Chelsea. Inter Milan accepted an offer of 97.5 million pounds.

According to the “Sun” report, this means that the cost of a joint transfer will be higher, breaking Neymar’s previous record of 246.6 million pounds. The Brazilian moved from Santos to Barcelona in 2017 in a global transaction of 198 million pounds, and then to Paris Saint-Germain.

But with Lukaku now returning to Stamford Bridge, his total transfer fee will soar to 293.5 million pounds.

The forward began his career in his hometown of Anderlecht before joining Chelsea in 2011 for 10 million. But three years later, there were only 15 games without a goal, and Lukaku was sold to Everton in 2014 for 28 million pounds. Lukaku ignored Chelsea’s interest and moved to Old Trafford, where he had uneven success as their No. 9 player.

He scored 42 goals in 96 games, but did not adapt to the Manchester United style due to his second transfer.
