A philanthropic organization from Greece, The Heart Doctors, will conduct a free medical outreach in five local councils of Niger State.The announcement was made by the organization’s leader, Mrs. Eleni Sotirou, during a visit to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago at the State Liaison Office in Abuja.The outreach will cover Munya, Paikoro, Shiroro, Agaie, and Chanchaga councils over 10 days, providing critical healthcare services to residents.

Mrs. Sotirou commended Governor Bago for his achievements in healthcare, including the revamp of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) Specialist Hospital, the overhaul of primary healthcare facilities, and the ongoing construction of an IDP camp in Shiroro.
She also expressed gratitude for the governor’s hospitality and support for their humanitarian efforts in the state.Governor Bago described the partnership as complementary to his administration’s vision of promoting a healthier citizenry and thanked the team for their continued support.
The Heart Doctors delegation included Dr. John Sotirou, Mr. Pantelis Ypsilantis, Mrs. Mairi Ypsilantis, Mrs. Mairi Giataganas, Mr. George Giataganas, alongside Niger State coordinators Dr. Mustapha Jibril Alheri and Adams Mustapha.
