BREAKING: Four policemen shot, houses razed in renewed clash between Osun communities

A violent clash between two communities in Osun State has left four brave policemen, including a Divisional Police Officer, injured and their patrol van destroyed by arsonists. The unrest erupted between Ilobu, headquarters of Irepodun council, and Ifon, headquarters of Orolu local government areas, and quickly escalated into a full-blown conflict. The situation was so dire that the Osun state government had warned of the impending danger after youths were seen brandishing weapons. Sadly, the warning went unheeded, and the two communities clashed, resulting in the destruction of homes and the loss of lives. During the chaos, some hoodlums ambushed the police, accusing them of taking sides. It’s a tragic situation that highlights the need for peace and unity in our communities.
