Chelsea secured the win with three goals in the second half, including a penalty by Cole Palmer, a strike by Raheem Sterling, and a goal by Nicolas Jackson.
Burnley made four changes to their lineup, with German defender Jordan Beyer not playing and Connor Roberts, Luca Koleosho, and Zeki Amdouni on the bench.
Returning to the team were Brazilian defender Vitinho, Mike Tresor, Hannes Delcroix, and 18-year-old French winger Wilson Odobert.
